01 — The problem
Halcyon Labs had a category-defining device and twelve weeks until launch, but a deck that looked like every other wellness brand. The board wanted reassurance the site could feel clinical-grade and covetable at once — without a single stock photo of someone sleeping.
02 — The approach
We built the identity around the moment the lights go out: a near-black canvas, one warm violet, and a slow breathing animation tuned to the device's own respiratory cadence. The product configurator reads like a control panel, not a checkout. Everything imageable is rendered — no photography — so the brand scales to any locale without a reshoot.
03 — The outcome
Halcyon opened to 11,400 pre-orders in seven days and a 38% lift over the previous landing test. The breathing hero became the brand's signature; the team now ships it as a loading state across the app.
